I see it all the time now and someone needs to tell these women (ahem): Unless you are a nurse or a 6-year old girl at Easter, don't wear white hose. I guarentee you that 9/10s of the time, it is not working on you. Really. Wear the nude hose and you'll be gald you did. But there are worse sins than JUST white hose, and you know who you are. The white hose with a bright floral dress crowd. That outfit is afdorable on little girls and just out of place completely worn by the 46 year old accountant on the street. And don't even CONSIDER putting on your tennis shoes with this outfit to walk down the street to the deli for lunch.

I know, I know, I'm being very harsh here. But it's for your own good. Ivory hose are really on the borderline unless maybe you have on ivory shoes as well. White is just too stark though. The ivory gives it a muich softer look and feel. But if you are in doubt, go with the nude. Go with the nude hose that have a little shimmer to them. You'll thank me later if anyone takes a picture.
